Lindt Excellence Zest of Lime

While in the last few weeks, Lindt has exploded with new flavours across many of their subranges, I'm still struggling to catch up! A new addition to the ever-expanding Excellence range, Zest of Lime was released mid-last year.

Snickers Limited Edition Xtreme Caramel

The 2014 limited edition version of the Snickers bar from Mars is a play on a Mars bar LE we saw recently; caramel, caramel and more caramel. Xtreme Caramel does away with the nougat layer and replaces it with more caramel.

Nestle Kit Kat Choc Mint Whirl

It tickles me pink when Australia gets something new in the confectionery world. Fellow lolly lovers from other countries tend to explode on Twitter. Even though it's not aimed at me, I still feel pretty special!

It's even more special when one of the new products is a new flavour of Kit Kat bar, a confectionery item with dozens of reiterations (and that's just in Japan). Choc Mint Whirl (and its brother Choc Whirl) are both new to the world of Kit Kat.

Snickers Limited Edition Almond

Here I am, running behind again! I originally announced the 2014 Snickers limited edition back in June last year (has it really been that long?). Contrary to my note in the Gossip post, Australia has actually seen Snickers Almond on its shelves before - it was released back in 2011. Mars and other confectionery companies do like to repeat their most popular limited editions, often as a part of market research that could see the flavour introduced to the regular line-up.

Menz Caramel Honeycomb

It's not often I get to review a wholly Australian brand. Menz, short for Robern Menz, has manufactured confectionery in Australia since 1892 (though the brand produced other products from as early as 1850) - now that's a pretty impressive record!

Wonka Mudpuff Caramelstuff

(It's been way too hot here in Perth to blog, so sorry for the radio silence. Today is only 33°C, so I can comfortably look at some lollies without it melting in my hands!)

Way back in August, Nestle's subbrand Wonka released a new flavour of their chocolate block to coincide with their Golden Ticket promotion they were running at the time.
